In my cast porcelain pieces, the built environment meets nature and this is what inspires me: the unique connection between elemental forms and artificial structures, classical functions and new shapes. My vision is that these objects not only live in a space but also control it. Slip-casted porcelain vase, firing at 1320°C, in woodfired kiln Zebegény, Hungary. Work technical description For this casting procedure, I create a master form and then a mould. The speciality of this object is that the mould is set up by 60 different sized parts which are held together by a larger outer shell and their encounter creates the final form of the vase. The body is variable by mixing up the parts under the shell. I can take out some or interchange them, so this technique gives me the opportunity to slip-cast countless versions with the same mould.
