I redesign products of traditional Hungarian pottery, finishing them by high temperature woodfiring techniques. My work explores the border-land of functionality and decorativity. While the cut flower spends its life’s last moments in the object, at the same time the porcelain in the centrer captures the light, as a gesture which evokes the birth of the plant. I make these pieces out of a passion for craftsmanship.
